In 2024, TermiPore participated in FAOPMA for the 1st time. It was held in Mumbai, and it was instrumental in forging meaningful collaborations in subsequent months.

This year, FAOPMA 2025 was held in Malaysia and once again it was a significant opportunity to interact with dynamic people in the business of pest control service and allied industries from across the world. 

Once again, we could share TermiPore’s cutting-edge products, specially developed, designed and manufactured for prevention of termites and protection of precious real estate property.

Impeccably organized trade show

What a well organised show at a good location and venue in Penang, with no hiccups right from registration to closing ceremony; interesting speakers, attended by a very good number of delegates, break-out rooms for meetings, and all the necessary support for a smooth experience. Over 10 months of planning, commitment and hard work of the leaders of FAOPMA, the organising committee and the implementing team was visible in the smooth function during this splendid trade show. Kudos to Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Management Association and MPMA for this wonderful event that had 1400+ delegates from 25 countries and 48 sponsors exhibition booths from around the world.

What’s more, it was not all work, the organisers had ensured fun after-parties on both evenings, to relax and enjoy after a hard day’s work.

Like at any trade expo, we had lots of questions from visitors at our booth, however, would like to share information on the most frequently asked questions.

Why TermiPore? Difference between TermiPore and other brands and other types of pipes used for anti-termite reticulation:

1)      Product composition and TermiPore sizes:

After a lot of research, TermiPore is specially designed and developed for underground reticulation. It is made of specially developed thermoplastic elastomeric compound that is very long lasting (at least 50 years) and does not squeeze, bend, crack during or after installation. It is RoHS compliant and has successfully passed the ESCR test. These are not just our claims, but we have done intensive testing both inhouse and externally at 3rd party laboratories.


TermiPore is not just about pipes, it is an entire Preventive Anti-termite Reticulation System, that not only provides high quality reticulation pipes but also all the necessary accessories, technical support in terms of layout, training for installation, etc. We have conducted many online and onsite trainings, and a lot of videos are available on our youtube handle, giving a lot of relevant information.  1)   Why install traditionally used products when you can easily buy the latest products, designed after intensive research and development?

As per our discussions with many pest control service providers from Malaysia and other countries that already use reticulation method to prevent termites, we realised that pipes made of PVC and/or PPR are widely in use for this purpose. It is not that the providers are not aware of this method, but they are still using the traditional PVC/PPR/Irrigation Pipes that were in use before 20-25 years! TermiPore is already in many countries, and we still need to work at creating awareness about the difference between TermiPore and other pipes.

2) TermiPore Pipe Material ensures durability:

TermiPore is long-lasting and it will last for 50+ years. Its design and raw material are specially designed for underground reticulation. it does not block, deteriorate, crack or corrode over decades.




4)TermiPore Pipe Design ensures high weight bearing capacity:

a)   Pipe thickness: TermiPore pipe thickness as well as the pipe-wall thickness ensure that every TermiPore pipe size is sturdy enough and does not squeeze, bend during installation and after construction.                                                                                                  However, irrigation pipes are not weight bearing pipes, as they are made for use above ground. The material is not made to withstand the pressure of underground installation, where a lot of weight of construction material will come over it.


b)  TermiPore has 100-150 Microholes per meter: In traditionally used PVC/PPR/Irrigation pipes, the most common method used is to manually perforate the pipes. The holes are poked manually at a distance of approx. 1 foot all in one direction. Even if one hole gets blocked, termiticide will not be distributed in an area of 2 feet!

Whereas, TermiPore has 100-150 microholes per metre all across and around the pipe. This ensures uniform distribution of termiticide during every injection as well as no problem of blockage ever, if installed properly


5)      Stringent quality control:
