What Are The Test Reports of Various Termiticides on TermiPore?

Image
Pest Control Service Providers frequently ask us the effect of various termiticides on TermiPore pipes. Their major concern is the effect of types of termiticides on the durability and blocking of the pipe.   To answer these questions, TermiPore decided to conduct a thorough investigation and study into the effect of various termiticides on TermiPore, by conducting systematic experiments on different sizes of our pipes. A typical injection of termiticide will be once in 3 years. So TermiPore will be in touch with these chemicals about 15 times during its service life. Such a doubts lead to a perception that the system will not work in the long run and hence there is no point in installing this system. This may have been the case in the initial years when the system was newly introduced in India, due to many reasons. Let us understand the major reasons why such myth got prevalent.       (1)    INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL & PIPE THICKNESS Compared to the west, this system is relatively new to India. It was introduced in India about 20/22 years ago. Back then, the practice was to install any irrigation pipe or any plastic pipe for the purpose. All those materials were for use above ground. They did not have the weight bearing capacity, highly required in anti-termite reticulation pipes. Hence they wou...

TermiPore – The Only Reticulation Pipe, Lab Tested For: Durability & Strength

Image
Anti-termite Reticulation is a network of pipes installed at ground/plinth level or below the tiles; with junction-boxes on external walls, to enable easy and hassle-free injection of termiticides at required intervals. For a host of reasons, this is the most popular method in India and abroad , for termite prevention. To know why: https://termiporepipe.blogspot.com/2022/03/how-to-install-anti-termite.html   Given the nature of installation: ‘concealed & underground’ , it is crucial to use a pipe specially designed and developed for anti-termite reticulation. We strongly advise not to use any other regular rubber pipe, irrigation or poor-quality pipe. Underground pipes cannot be changed; hence we recommend the use of best quality reticulation pipes of a reliable brand, for the purpose of this one-time installation. Just as for plumbing, would you use any irrigation pipe or pipe of low quality? Or would you use only good quality plumbing pipe of a reliable brand? ...
